Conservation and Planning

The Committee has noted growing bewilderment among residents about the meaning of the term "conservation area" as applied to the Toastrack. Off-street parking has changed the outward appearance of the Toastrack and houses are expanding up, down and out all ways. Now ultra-modern designs are being proposed. Are we bit by bit eroding the reason we came to live here in the first place ie the comfortable and unique Edwardian face of the Toastrack? What (if anything) should the Residents Association do to protect that face? This is a controversial issue which is rising on the Association's agenda. More about conservation and planning
